From MER shopping cart page, how can the text be changed or be removed that states – “You can register a maximum X for this event” I have an unlimited event and do not have a limit on how many tickets one can reserve. Is there a way to remove or update this text?

Hi Mike,
The easiest method is to just hide it with some CSS. Plave this within either your themes styles.css file (not recommended due to theme updates overwriting or using a plugin such as My Custom CSS:

display: none;
}
