How do I make a second event layout?

I would like to have a second and/or third layout for an event. I have a primary layout but I have a second type of event which calls for other details and I would like to hide some fields and make default text appear in the editor. We currently have “Live” events and “Virtual” events, and I would like to select between these two when setting up a new event…

As Event Espresso uses your theme to output the events you’ll essentially need custom page templates:
