How do I customize the default page?

Hi there,
The output on that page isn’t the default event list from Event Espresso, its the Table view template:
https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-events-table-view-template/
However, the template used for that add-on has also been customized on that site so we don’t have an output that will look the same.
Are you comfortable with HTML/PHP/CSS? If so I can give you details on how you can load a custom template into the above add-on if preferred?

Ok, so the shortcode for the above add-on is [ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE]
That shortcode loads a template from within the add-on itself:
\eea-events-table-template\templates\espresso-events-table-template.template.php
You can copy that template file in the root directory of your theme, preferably a child theme (if you are not currently using a child theme you’ll find details on creating one HERE)
The table output for that add-on starts around line 42 so you can change how the events are displayed using your own markup there and EE will use the template you’ve copied into your theme in place of the default template.
