How do I associate all events to a single author?

We would like the email not to go to the author of the event. Is there a way to have a default author with no email?

Hi there,

Could you not just edit the event admin emails to send to a specific address (or not at all)?

Hacking up a WP user to set as an author feels like your above to open up a can of worms as WordPress expects users to have an email address set.
