Hi,

Without heavy modification that won’t be possible. Two other options are:

1) have them fill out a front end form which emails you and you set up the event for them

2) have them register using a system like S2Member and the Roles and Permissions Pro add on and allocate them the Event Manager role.

Dear Dean Robinson,

Thanks for your support and time. I would like to provide a facility to the general visitors to fill out a simple event details form , and would like to create an event after submitting that form. I don’t want to map events with the user . How can I do it ? Please help me,

Thanks in advance,

Nirav

Hello Nirav,

As mentioned, there is no way to create a post directly from a front end form currently.

The best alternative is to have a front end form which emails you on completion and for you to manually create the event.

It may be something we incorporate into future versions of Event Espresso, but it is not a high priority currently.
