Dear Sir/Madam,

I build a custom “Thank you” page for specific events. Such events are free of charge with free attendance and because of this I would like to hide a part of the page with the blue button.

I made a custom template for “event receipt” with removed any pricing specific information and I removed the switch on invoice page.

But ideally, I would remove the blue button at all. I can remove it by removing “receipt” from html part in EE4 settings. But I would prefer to keep it and remove only for a specific events.

For such needs, I would create a hook function for method as follows: FHEE__thank_you_page_overview_template__order_conf_desc, which allows me to change the thank you message for specific events, but here I faced with the problem how can I get the event id here? – I need the event id for checking which event I am processing and only for selected events I would change the “thank you” message as well as delete the blue button, but for the rest of events I would keep default functionality…

How can I achieve this?

Please give me any tip,
Vlad.

Hi Vlad,

There’s an example of how to get the event ID from the thank you page in this tutorial:
