I recently implemented Event Espresso 4 for on-site courses/workshops. We also have four home study courses. For these courses, there is no date/time and no time that the price expires. Is there a way to change the registration information so it doesn’t show this information just for these four items? For example, removing it from the receipt/invoice and in the messages for these four courses? Our address is http://www.greatseminarsandbooks.com. Currently, Event Espresso is not live but will be once we figure this small part out.
To remove those details fro the Invoice and Receipt you would need to create custom templates for each and assign those templates to those specific events.
For example go to:
Event Espresso -> Messages
Find the ‘Invoice’ message template and click the ‘Create Custom’ button – http://take.ms/gkxFy
You’ll now see a new custom template based on the original. You can make any changes you prefer to the Invoice template there (be sure to give the template a meaningful name so you can find it later)
Then within the event you select that custom template within the Notifications section – http://take.ms/cqICI
That event will then use that custom template. You can assigned multiple events to use that same template and leave the others using the ‘global’ template.
Repeate this for the Receipt template (and any other templates you wish to remove the details from)
You will likely also need to hide the dates and times for those events from within the event detail, you can do this using CSS.

This helps a lot. One more thing. I’m using shortcode on the course pages to provide the Registration button but it is also showing me the “show details” button. Is there a way to remove this? For the home study courses, “show details” shows dates and times that don’t obviously apply.
You go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and set “Show Ticket Details?” to No.
