I am trying to create a user level for employees that hides personal contact info and Payment info (on the backend) from employees and volunteers. Previously with Events+ that was hidden and employees could only see events that they created. Currently as a “contributor” it appears to show employees everything. Any and all guidance is appreciated.

Hi Nicholas,
Could you let us know the screens that the restricted user should have access to?
For example, it doesn’t sound like they should have access to anything in Event Espresso –> Transactions.

Yes I want to hide email and payment info mainly and restrict access to editing or erasing others events. Mainly Id like them to have access to only events they create and no others. Thank you! Nick

Lets say you wanted a specific user with a specific role to be able to create and edit their own events. These capabilities would be needed:
ee_read_event
ee_read_others_events
ee_read_private_events
ee_read_events
ee_edit_event
ee_edit_published_events
ee_edit_private_events
ee_edit_events
If you wanted them to be able to edit other events other than their own, then this capability would do that:
ee_edit_others_events
