Hi there
We have a site where only the invoice payment option is available. Currently users fill in their details, and have to select the invoice payment option, then checkout.
We want to remove this from the checkout page, and simply default to the single payment option. You’d think that this would be by default, since it’s a bit redundant to have to select the only option available.
How can this be done? It looks like you need to save the details server-side first, then if it validates, checkout (2 AJAX calls). Has anyone else faced this issue? I couldn’t find much on the matter. Even if there’s a workaround to hide the payment option selection box, and set a hidden field. Or even select the option after the details have been successfully validated.

Hi Jackson,
We have a ticket to address this is a future version of EE4 in that if a single payment gateway is active that gateway will automatically be selected during the final stages of the registration.
I do not believe we currently have a workaround but will check with the developers.
Also to note we have included multiple bugfixes in the latest version of EE4 compared to the version you are currently running (4.2.3), I would recommend backing up the site and updating to the latest version.

That’s too bad, thanks for letting me know anyway. I’ll keep my eye on the latest releases.
Do you know if there’s any temporary workaround? I was thinking of hiding the payment option area, and when you click on “Proceed to Payment Options”, it would save the registration details, and if the AJAX call validates, it will programatically click on the payment option, and submit.

I am looking for the same option except using Paypal standard. I don’t see the point in making the users click on the paypal icon to make a payment when there is only one option. I just upgraded to 4.2.9p today. Is this feature available yet? would the above script for for me? Where do I add it and to what page.
