This is half a follow up post and half a new question.
Josh (who is seriously awesome) helped me out a while back in this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/display-new-content-if-user-has-already-purchased-a-ticket/
I’m having a lot of trouble trying to access the registrant’s ticket to differentiate messages between fully approved and the registration is yet to be approved.
Here are my use cases:
1. User has approved registration and as a result does not get access to the selector.
2. User has cancelled their registration during the checkout process and a message notifies the user that they’re tried before. They are able to access the selector underneath this message.
I’ve tried digging around in the my events code but maybe I’ve missed something.
The second part of my post has with the status of events themselves (active, upcoming, expired, etc.). I simply want to have access to the status to be able to change some things in the custom template, and if possible all the possible values of this attribute.

I’m not sure I understand this, do you already have this working but something is not correct?

You want to change the values used for Event statuses?
