Hi. I have an upcoming events widget for the home page of my site http://www.bbomathshub.org.uk but it automatically displays events even when they’re sold out – which is leading to phone calls, confusion and then disappointment from customers. Is there a simple way of hiding those upcoming events which are sold out from the upcoming events widget or perhaps displaying a label with them that shows they are in fact sold out…? Thanks. Jamie

Hi Jamie,
You can remove the sold out events from displaying in the Upcoming Events widget by adding a tiny bit of PHP code to the site:
https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/widgets/jf_ee_remove_sold_out_events_from_widget.php
You can add the above to a functions plugin or if applicable, into your WordPress child theme’s functions.php file.
