Hide post date for an event

How do I hide the post date for an event since this may confuse people.

I know this is caused by the theme so any help is appreciated.

An example of what I am referring to, it says June 7 and the event is in October.

You can add the following to the Additional CSS panel in the Appearance > Customize page:

.jx-ievent-blog-meta div.jx-ievent-event-date {
visibility:hidden;
}
