Hi
I have EE 3.1.20 with WP 3.6.1.
I need to create a new form according with these situations:
If I check the field “Pay with Coupon code” a new mandatory text box will be displayed it to enter the coupon number and after submit the form the registration will be completed
If I don’t check the field it should go to directly to PayPal after submit.
How I can do that in a simple way? is It possible to do it with out touching the Core of EE?

The other thing is this will take some custom coding. However, are you aware of our social coupon addon?
Its for generating 100% off coupons (think Living Social or Groupon).

I know we are using an old EE version but unfortunately we can’t upgrade for the moment. We have some issues with other plugins.
That’s can work for sure… but We need to provide these to scenarios for each packed.
1) A client having a coupon avoid the paypal payment and he is able to see this mandatory text field to fill out with the code
2) a client who doesn’t have it, just pay with paypal and the text field is hidden and not mandatory.
Any suggestion to take a look? or do it

Hi,
With the Social Coupons addon, a field is added to the registration form. If they have a valid coupon they can enter it and the event will become free so no payment required. If they do not have a coupon then they will continue on to pay.
The field is not mandatory at all, as we won’t know who has a coupon and who doesn’t.
I suppose if you have logged in users and specific user levels get coupons and others do not you could modify the plugin on that basis to show/hide the field, but that’s a customisation that is beyond general support and would require a developer to assist you with.
