Dear Support
Another issue I have which is causing a bit of an issue with some of the delegates is the disappearance of the promotional code label, please look at this image file this seems to happen all the time as we get frequent questions like: where am I supposed to enter the discount code?
When I looked into this matter I thought that would have been a case of css, where the field would hide the label, but instead it seems a bit more then that since the actual text is not showing at all even on the html code
Please note that this issue happens on all web browsers, EI, FireFox, Opera, Chrome and Safari
is there a way to fix this?

Hi Andy,
Go to Event Espresso –> Promotions –> Settings and save changes.
Does that restore the button text?
Also, is your software up to date?

the software is fully updated to the latest version 4.9.4.p
I am going to check if the issue continue and let you know.

Hi Lorenzo,
I just tried and it seems that the issue is fixed, but what if it happens again without me knowing about it, i can’t every now and then go and do a test to see if the label still there, thoughts or suggestions?

Hi Andy,
We’ve seen this happen on some server setups and have been working through various fixes.
We have added filters to both of those text outputs that will prevent this from happening even if the cause of the problem happens again.
You can add this function to your themes functions.php file or a Custom Functions Plugin:

That will force the Label and Button to always have the ‘Promotion Code’ text.
