And now on my ENTIRE site, this is what happens:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/content/32/9453232/html/wp-content/plugins/espresso-multiple/cart-widget.php on line 47
NOTHING shows up on my entire site!!! I cannot even to back to fix it or log in or anything. Please help ASAP!!!!
Can you use FTP to reverse the changes? Have you made other customizations to that file, if not I’d just replace it with an non-customized file…again using FTP to access the files.
If there have not been other changes, that should restore your site.
I am on the phone with GoDaddy & I just deleted the file and I am going to reupload it. But I’m not familiar with FTP so I’m having a heck of a time logging in.
They are saying it looks like the problem is the multi event registration plug in its self. I’m so confused.
Yes, GoDaddy would think that the plugin is broken because you may have added the code correctly. Delete the file you modified and upload (via FTP) the unaltered version. OR rename/delete the MER plugin folder directory because that will disable the MER plugin all together and you can upload a new version.
I went ahead and deleted the file entirely from GoDaddy and reuploaded it. Everything is okay now.
That being said, can you maybe enlighten me as to how I might accomplish what I originally set out to do: Get my shopping cart widget to show up even if there is nothing in it?
I’m clearly not very experienced with this stuff so as much detail as possible would be fantastic! Thank you so so much!
