I am hoping for some help with a few customizations for event espresso. We need to be very precise in how we refer to the event price/cost and a few other details to present our ceremonies online in a good way.

1 – Could I change the language “start time” to “arrival time” on the registration page?

2 – For payment confirmation page, I would like to change “Price Per Attendee” to “Financial Contribution Per Attendee” & “Total Financial Contribution” at the bottom, and on the registration page I would also like to change “Price” to “Financial Contribution”

3 – Also on the page after registration is confirmed I would like to change “Your registration is not complete until payment is received.” … to … “Your registration is not complete until your financial contribution is received.”

4 – Also on the venue information, is it possible to remove the “map & directions” link from the registration page? We prefer to keep the venue location private and send directions in the confirmation email. The city name is sufficient for us to refer to the location, but then the “map and directions” link is misleading and inaccurate.

Thank you so much for all you help!

One additional change we hope to make is to remove the words “Free Event” from the registration page of a ceremony that has no price connected with it.
Ideally, I’d love to know how to remove it and add “Open to all who come in a good way.” but just removing “Free event” works also.

This is for

I chose to rebuild the website with and this is a temp version of it while we perfect the installation of event espresso. I had installed Event Espresso on the old version of the site and now I have deleted it from that version, but the current new version says that I need to purchase a new support license in order to receive upgrades?

Can someone also help us with that? Or when I switch the site over & make it live at will it correct itself?

Thank you!

Hi Jeff, you will need to purchase one (or more) Support tokens for this as it goes beyond standard support

Re the support licences, it is because you have switched urls. We can rest the licence when you move to the live server just let us know.

Ok, thank you Dean! Is it possible to get a quote for how long this changes might take? Or how many tokens you estimate we may need?
Also would it be possible to confirm that these changes can be made before we buy the token(s)?
Thank you!

Hi Jeff,

Mostly this is just template customisations. If you know your way around PHP you could do it yourself, otherwise 1 support token should do it.

Hi Dean,
I’ve purchased a support token. How do I use it?

We will be in touch, sales just needs to confirm it and pass it on to us in support.

It’s been more than 3 hours since I sent the necessary info…is that normal?
I will now be away until about 5pm.
Will I be able to get support on the weekend?
I wish I understood the time frame for the support help and what it would look like better.
Will I speak to someone? Will it be chat format? Do I need to be available at a certain time? Or will someone just let me know when the changes I inquired about have been made.
Thank you!
