HELP! Registration/Sign ups NO LONGER WORKING

It seems that since I upgraded Event Espresso, none of my registration forms are working for any of our events/classes. Help please!!

I checked the website and it’s very slow. May I ask is the site being served from a recommended web host?

GoDaddy is who we go through…is that what you are asking? I’m sorry, I am a little lost with this stuff. I did disable Event Espresso and enabled Event Espresso Decaf? Not sure if that was an issue? Still isn’t working properly. Should I call Godaddy?

Oh I see that Godaddy is one that you don’t recommend? What should I do to make this work?

This does appear to be a hosting issue, because right now if I go to the URL you posted earlier, it just says “Error establishing a database connection”. So you could reach out to GoDaddy to see if they can help with that issue. Ideally the site should be moved to one of the recommended hosts as those are more reliable.

With regards to decaf, that’s the free version of Event Espresso 4. That version works OK, but your support license gives you access to the full version of Event Espresso 4 Caffeinated. If you can go to your site’s WP > Plugins page you can deactivate and delete decaf, the reactivate EE4 Regular. Your events will remain intact and will be there after reactivating EE4 Regular.
