HELP! Promotions not working

Please help fast! I am running a grand opening promotion and students are registering as we speak. It was working. Now it is not. The promotion I was using now says unavailable. Couldn’t figure out why as dates are correct. So I created a new one. That is not working either. Please see screen shot for error message I am getting.

Hey there,

Can you make sure the promotion has been added to the event? You can do that within the editor for that particular code.

It was an issue with “number of uses” field. I thought this was the number of times a single user could use the promotion. When really it is the number of uses sitewide.

It turns out Number of Uses is Number of Uses per scope item. Right now since Events is the one scope item, it’s number of uses per event. So if you set the number of uses to 10, then assign the promotion to 2 events, that means it can be used up to 20 times. That’s up to 10 times per each of those 2 events.
