I will be hosting multiple events for associated groups, but each group wants to have payments going to them from the system. So, optimally, I would like to be able to create an event for group A where payments go to Group A’s accounts, create an event for group B where payments go to Group B’s accounts, etc. As it stands right now, I would need someone to manage all these event payments and distribute payments to all the groups. Can this be done? |

In version 4, you can do something like that with PayPal accounts. You can use a meta key & then add this code snippet to your child theme’s functions.php file or a site specific plugin: However, there are some restrictions. Additional fees can’t be added and this is not compatible with the Multiple Event Registration add-on. This means that a registrant would only be able to register for one event at a time. |

Interesting. Any way that this can become a standard option with EE4? The ability to assign a payment method to an event sounds relatively straight forward. I get that being able to do multi-event processing probably will not work if events have multiple accounts, but I am not quite sure why additional fees cannot be added. I guess I am not understanding the technical issues with this, but it really can’t be that hard to make as an option. |

Hello, Event Espresso isn’t a good fit for an event marketplace site (e.g. create your own ticket master or your own eventbrite). Some of the features that you asked about like charging a service fee and then routing to an individual merchant account would be something that would be needed for an event marketplace. — |

I do not want to charge a service fee and route to another account. I want to be able to have multiple paypal accounts available and assign one of them to a specific event. This way I can manage my district lodge events from one instance of EE and have their money routed to the proper accounts automatically. Seems to me it is a simple as a table entry holding the details. But, oh well. It is your software and I just use it. I will adjust accordingly. Thanks for the input and advise all! Regards, R |

You can also use the Payment methods pro add-on to accomplish what you’re after: |
