Hello,

I am planning to use the plugin for Gym classes booking, and have a few questions:

1) Is it possible to set a minimum number of spots for each class? and if not enough people registered, to automatically cancel the class and notify them by email?

2) Is it possible to set different prices for different user types? (club members & regular users)

3) Is it possible to allow users to cancel registration 30 min before it starts?

4) Can it work in Hebrew language (front end only)

Thank you,
Shay

Hi Shay,

Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso. You can demo EE4 over at http://demoee.org

1) Not currently no.

2) Yes, using the EE4 WP User Integration add on, you can set tickets to only be purchasable if the user has a specific User Capability.

3) Users can cancel registration at any point. Are you trying to stop cancellation within 30 minutes?

4) We support RTL languages yes, but please note our translation file contains front and back end translations, so it may not be easy to separate them out.

If you have any further questions or need clarification, please let us know.

Hi Dean,

Thanks for the reply.

2) What I mean is to have free registration for one user role, and paid for another user role. Is it possible?

3) Yes, is it possible not to allow to cancel less than 30 min before?

4) Is it possible to customize the front end translation appearance?

Hi Shay,

Thanks for the clarification.

2) Yes, you can set two tickets, one at X price and one at Y price. You can either leave it at that or if you want more control you can set up the WP User Integration addon so that a customer needs to be logged in and they can only purchase whichever ticket based on their capabilities.

3) Currently in EE4, only the admin can cancel events, so users would need to contact you.

4) Yes, translations are possible and so is RTL, but as mentioned we have one language file so there may be some cross over with Hebrew translations appearing in the admin as front and admin share some translations.

Hi Dean,

Thanks, it looks clear now. Just a couple more questions:

1) Will the user role addon work also with custom user roles? (added by another WP plugin, such as a membership plugin).

2) I am trying to understand if there may be translation issue, and if I will be able to control how the language is displayed to users. For example modify/correct certain words or sentences as needed.

Thank you.

1) Will the user role addon work also with custom user roles? (added by another WP plugin, such as a membership plugin).

EE4 uses capabilities, not roles.

Roles are effectively collections of capabilities, some membership plugins check on role but as long as you assign the EE capabilities to your custom roles it will work.

2) I am trying to understand if there may be translation issue, and if I will be able to control how the language is displayed to users. For example modify/correct certain words or sentences as needed.

You can alter almost all of the strings within EE4 using PO/MO files, so if you need to alter the translation it is easy to do so if you are used to using PO files.
