  1. I attached the seating plan for our event Seating Plan. How would I best structure the Seating plan spreadsheet and module? Each table has 8 seats.
  2. I looked throughout the support forums (even premium forums) and was unable to find an answer to these questions/setup:

a. At this event, we sell seats and tables. When a user wants to select 2 or 3 seats (and/or tables) to purchase is there a way to choose a quantity of tickets to generate with 1 user/email instead of the hassle of adding additional users?

b. Is there a way to specify how many tables are for sale and how many individual seats are for sale? (i.e. 15 tables, 90 seats?)

c. When a table is sold, is there a way to reduce the number of available seats by 8 from the event maximum?

d. Is there a way to only permit users who purchase a table access to the seat selector to pick their table location?

  1. Is there a way to change link colors? The hyperlinks are black (map and directions, adding another user, etc.). Can this be changed? I looked throughout the support forums and was unable to find an answer.

Ian,

I apologize for the delay in responding to you.
To answer your questions, at this time, our seating chart add on works in rows, not tables. You would need to enter names as additional attendees. I don’t think there is a way around that. The seating chart add on does not all you to sell blocks of tickets as tables.

Thanks Jonathan,

  2. The shopping cart page has drop-down menus where a user could select the quantity of tickets (see linked screen shot shopping cart screen shot. Is there a way to default to this page? I already tried what was mentioned in another post: Forum Post but it did not seem to work.

Hi Ian,

  1. That can be changed in your themes css file.
  2. Try using the “Unique Event Identifier” (screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/9Lr1JYnJ0J5)

Thanks, I’ll check out the theme css file.
Any ideas on the shopping cart as default?

Sorry, I forgot to answer that part of the question. We don’t have a way of doing that right now, that I know of. I can talk to one of the developers and see what they say.
