Hi there,
I saw this support issue raised: https://eventespresso.com/topic/rounding-issue-when-tax-vat-is-added/
I am facing exactly the same problem. I also tried the suggested price modifier but it still gives the same rounding issue.
Any idea when this is going to be fixed or any other solution I can use?

Hi Mike,
I’m not sure if this will be fixed because there hasn’t been any movement on the related tickets for over one year.
Usually switching over to using a Price modifier instead of a ticket will result in fewer rounding errors. May I ask can you post an example of the price + surcharge you’re using where there’s a rounding error so I can check into another solution?

I want the ticket total to be $265 but it is impossible, even using the price modifier.
Is there any custom code that could be added that would make the price modifier only take effect on the overall total? That way it would be simple to just give a $0.01 offset on the total price

No custom code, but you can use a Price Modifier Percent Surcharge instead of setting the “This ticket is Taxable checkbox” and you’ll avoid the rounding issue.
