After updating to 3.1.28.1, Groupons were not applying to events. Can you please tell me what files contain the following for Coupons and Groupons: |
Hi there, The groupon plugin is being re-branded as the “Social Coupons” add-on. So you’ll find it under Event Espresso – Social Coupons. The file that contains the text string “Enter Voucher Code” is in the social coupon/groupon add-on, and it’s named use_groupon_code.php. The Promo Code: is from the core plugin in use_coupon_code.php As an alternative to modifying plugin files, you can create an “English to English” translation by creating your own translation. 1) We recommend poedit for working on translation files: http://www.poedit.net/ 2) After you install poedit, you can download a copy of event-espresso and open the /languages/event_espresso-en_US.po file in poedit. 3) Use the Find tool to pull up the text string you need to modify. 4) Change the string as shown: 5) Save, then upload the .po and newly generated .mo files to the wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/languages/ directory on your server. |

Thank you for the quick reply. I missed the renaming of the plugin. I appreciate the support. |
No problem, sorry for the trouble there. |

One last thought Josh – what threw me was that in my Account tab, this plugin is still titled Groupon Integration. I’m sure there’s more effort to re-title this, but consistency is always helpful… Cheers! |

Thanks for pointing that out, we will get it amended! |
