Groupon Addon Question

I currently am using EE and have my events set to a zero price since they are all sold through Groupon, Living Social, and a few other coupon sites. I just noticed the Groupon Addon. What exactly does this addon provide? Would I be able to set the actual price for my class and allow Groupn users to enter a code so they get the registration for free (since they already paid for it) – would it work for the other coupon sites as well?

Hi Liezl,

The Social Coupons add on (formerly Groupon) does allow exactly that. You enter a list of codes into the plugin and these provide the 100% discount tot he event. The codes are one use only. If the other coupon sites work in a simialr way (i.e. the 100% discount) then yes they will work just fine.
