EE3 had a Groupon code plugin. What do we do with EE4 to handle Groupon codes?

Hi there,
Currently EE4 does not have a ‘social coupon‘ type plugin for single use codes like the EE3 did.
It also depends on the type of groupon promotion you are running.
If all of your Groupon’s were provided with a unique code you could create a generic ‘GROUPON’ discount code and then request the security code from the registrant within the registration form, the code could then need to be manually checked with Groupon.
Would that work?
