My goal is to use this for golf outings, where you can either register as an individual, all the way up to a foursome (one group). If I setup my tickets as follows:
124 individual
31 groups
My question is, if I have 1 group sign up (4 people), I would presume that the individual tickets available would then be 120 and the groups available would be 30. Would that be the case?
If not, is there another way the system could handle this type of request.
With both EE3 or EE4 each registration is counted and registered individually. So, the pricing structure is always on a per-ticket basis. In the registration process your users can elect to reuse the registration information for individual 1 for individual 2 (and so forth).
In EE4 you can create ticket with individual prices, but you can also configure the minimum and maximum number of tickets someone must purchase (greater than 0). That way you can price your tickets differently if they purchase say more than 5 tickets up to 10, or 10 tickets up to 20. Does that make sense?
