Group Sales for Virtual Events

Some clients watch Virtual Events in a Group setting. Our direct sales team wishes to sell access to Virtual Events for Groups and define a negotiated rate for access on a case-by-case basis.

Scenario 1
1) A Virtual Event is available for individual registrants for $100 and we setup Ticket A

2) Sales Rep A sells access to the Virtual Event to be streamed on a single device in a classroom to a Group of 20 and setup Ticket B for $1,500 since it requires 1 login for 1 point of access and 1 transaction.

3) Sales Rep B sells access to the Virtual Event to be streamed on a single device in a classroom to a Group of 20 and setup Ticket B for $1,650 since it requires 1 login for 1 point of access and 1 transaction.

Problem: What are best practices for creating Group tickets to a virtual event that may have variable pricing and classroom sizes? Is there a “private” ticket option or a way admins can enter a registration and then modify the order? In EE3, admins could add a registration and then adjust pricing for direct sales.

Hi there,

With EE4 you need to create a ticket for each price you want to use within the event, you can’t edit the pricing like you could within EE3.

I’m not sure if this is what you are looking for, but another user created an add-on to create ‘Admin only’ tickets:

https://github.com/chasecmiller/EE4-AdminOnlyTicket

That allows you to create tickets that only show when you register onto the event within the admin, will that work for you?
