Pre-Sale Question: I’m looking for an event WP plugin that allows the admin to create event groups or event packages in which the attendee can select from a list of events and add them to create there own custom package. Is this possible with Event Espresso?

Hi Justin,
We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso.
This is possible with the Multiple Event Registration add-on that is included in the Business License. You would create events and use the shortcodes to allow them to add the events to cart for checkout.

Hey Justin,
We are working on an improvement to the social coupon integration add-on that will let the customer use a voucher code for X number of tickets. With this and the Multi Event Registration add-on, you will be able to sell the voucher code, then the customer can use it to pick out X number of events to make a package from the event group.

Thanks! Just to clarify: We would add shortcodes for specific events on a page and the user would be able to select which of those events they can add to cart to create a package? So by applying the shortcodes we can determine which events are available to be selected by the user for a package?

Hello Justin,
Pretty much yes. What you would do is create a bunch of events and then add a category to them. Then using a shortcode like [EVENT_LIST category_identifier=”X”] (where X is the category id) you can limit what events are shown on that page.
With the Multiple Event Registration add on, you get a cart functionality so the users can scroll through that list adding them to cart.
