Hi There Customers are getting a registration email for themselves and they are also getting a “Group” email as well, even if they only register a single name. Can this be changed? Thanks Steve B |
Hi Steve, Can you link me to a test event I can register onto to view the emails, please? If you don’t have a test event, can you create one with at least 1 free ticket type? You can set the event to be password protected and post the password here to prevent other users registering onto it. |

Hi Tony Event here: https://ntlbiologica.com/antibodytesting/events/test-event/ PW: ESSPRES2020!? Cheers Steve |
Thanks, I’ve added a couple to see what email comes through. Can you set the ticket limit to be infinite (set both the ticket and datetime to nothing by just emptying the field and save) so I can run a few different types of tests? |

Hi Tony I have done that. Steve |
Ok, so you have both the ‘Registrant’ and ‘Primary Registrant’ context enabled for ‘Registration Approved’ message type. The Primary Registrant is also a Registrant so receives that email, the primary registrant email can be used to provide additional information to the primary registrant. If you don’t want both of those email you’ll need to disable the Primary Registrant context so they only receive the Registrant email. |

Thanks. But where is the “Primary Registrant contect”?? Cheers Steve |
It’s in the message template itself, if you are using the default message template it is in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates. Find the Registration Approved message type and click on ‘Edit Primary Registrant’. Then click the green toggle switch to disable it. For more info on message contexts see: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/messages-system-working-with-message-contexts/ |
