We’re hosting a golf tournament and have an option for a single player to sign up at full price. We need the additional player’s information so we are requiring the Personal Information question group on the registration form. However if someone want’s to purchase a foursome, we are giving them a $5 discount on each registration. So it’s a total savings of $20. With this option, if they add a player it charges them the 4 ticket price twice. That won’t work. Is there a way to get the player information for each of the four players without charging additional fees?

Hi Debra,

You can achieve this a couple of ways. Adding the additional player info as addition questions is the only way currently to stop multiple charges. Those questions would be visible all the time (If someone wants to register for 1 player the questions are still there just left blank) That would be the simplest method.

Another was is you could remove the ‘Foursome’ option as a ticket and add the information into the description that they receive a discount for 4 players.

Then use the Volume Discount Add-on available throught the Pre-Release Channel. Set-up as follows: http://d.pr/i/3FVS

That says that once 4 registrations are reached, apply a total discount of $20.

Your event will need a category and that category should be chosen in the Volume Discount Add-on. (Just under the settings visible in the screenshot)

Then for your ‘Sponsor’ tickets you could then use the Price Modifier Add-on this allows you to give a value to a question. This value will be applied to the total amount. So say for Gold Sponsorship. You could setup a checkbox question with a value of +$140 (95 x 4 = $380, $380 – Volume discount = $360, $360 + 140 = $500) so when they check that box it will be added to the total. You could also do the same for Silver (+$55).

Does that make sense/help?
