hi there,
1. is it possible to limit the number of items in grid? i’d like to display max 5 items within the shortcode.
i’m using [EVENT_CUSTOM_VIEW template_name=”grid”].
2. would that be possible to tweak the gird so it displays the date for an event without having to rollover on an image? i mean something like here: https://www.tixbox.com/.
at the moment it only displays an image and you need to rollover to see more info.
3. it’d be ideal to be able to sort grid items by category, but i assume that’s not possible, is it?

hi there,
would that be possible to display ie. 5 events in a grid but have 10 events and just rotate them? so 5 events would be visible on a page and then it’d be possible to scroll left and right to see other events.

It turns out that you can limit the number of events in the grid, please see our documentation for more info:

The grid template can be changed so it displays the the info without the hover if you change the template’s CSS.

thanks. what about sorting grid items by category using ajax? so it shows a grid with all events and then you pick a category and it displays events only for that particular category?
otherwise, would that be possible to display the grid in a carousel slider?

Hi Adam,
As you probably already can see, the Grid template doesn’t have either a sort by category with ajax or carousel slider feature. That said, it can be done if you’d like to hire a developer to put the time and energy into it to make either happen.
