We suspect that there is a conflict with another plugin you have activated OR it’s related some of the customizations you’re doing. Will you deactivate the other plugins one-by-one to try and determine which is causing the conflict.
You probably need to run your shortcode through the do_shortcode() function in your modified templates. We filter stuff that gets entered into the event description.
I followed your instructions, but it doesn’t work. Idon’t know what it is the responsable, but I’m sure that isn’t any plugin, the templates and the do_shortcode not works.
This is not an issue with Event Espresso but rather an issue with when GPP initializes there shortcodes.
You would need to contact them in regards to registering the shortcodes correctly.
Currently they hook into wp_head to initialize the shortcodes, changing line 108 in gpp-shortcodes.php to use ‘init’ rather than ‘wp_head’ fixes the problem.
Please note this is unsupported by ourselves, if you have further issues you will need to contact GPP.
