I searched and got the big hand in the face on this: https://eventespresso.com/topic/capturing-gotowebinar-registration-data-within-ee/ The posts asks whether it’s possible to capture and/or automate a GoToWebinar registration process. Unfortunately it looks like I have to BUY the product to find out if what I want is supported! Several additional OLD requests were found, too, all of them closed and none of them conclusive. Not making a good first impression given the roadblocks you’re throwing up… but does anyone have an answer to this issue: can EventEspresso require payment AND register for a goToWebinar event? May I also be bold enough to ask a question that arose while reading a review: A reviewer stated that it is possible to RSVP for an event WITHOUT payment being required in both the free and paid version. Please tell me that this is NOT so as it’s a non-starter to have people believe they are “RSVPd” when indeed they haven’t paid. Too much hassle trying to collect payment. |
Hi Steven, We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso. That post reply was conclusive in that we don’t have the functionality at this time. And the option was given to have the feature custom developed.
For your second question, if someone abandons the registration process without paying, they are marked in the system as “Incomplete” and (if registration limits are set) will not deduct from the attendee limits. Also, the default registration confirmation email provides a link to complete payment for the registration if it was not already completed on your site. The emails can be customized to include more detail if you choose. |

Thanks. Is there someplace where I can test the client behavior? I’ll be glad to make token PayPal payments. The bottom line for me is I don’t want the appearance of a two-step procedure … It should be as simple as “buy ticket” not RSVP and then a separate payment process. I am also curious why your site returned the article but wont show me the answer to the article. Makes me wonder why youve chosen to be secretive and how many other issues are lurking and only discoverable AFTER making a purchase – or would I even be able to see those pages? |

very interested in this same sort of option, where we can offered paid gotowebinar services that would auto enroll into the gotomeeting/webinar system but still utilize authorize.net for the payment gateway. any clue the cost to custom develop this sort of feature? and what the lead time would be?? |

Kristi: As a EE licensed owner, I think you’re supposed to request (and perhaps can read) the answer here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/capturing-gotowebinar-registration-data-within-ee I can only see the question, not the answer. |

Hi Steven, The answer from that forum post is:
You may not be able to access all of those links. |
