Do you plan to support Google’s new eventAttendanceMode field?

They just came up with it a few days ago, and they’re already pretty spammy about it.

Hi there,

I’ve opened a discussion over the new changes but we’ll need some time to work through this as it’s already causing confusion, for example:

https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/1842#issuecomment-602482776
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-field-eventattendancemode/

So before we push anything live we’ll need to get some clarification on how that field (and the others) is intended to be used.

The json+ld output has an action at the end of it which can be used to add additional details should you wish to add this onto your site before we add it within EE:

AHEE__json_linked_data_for_event__template

If you are comfortable with hooks you can use that to echo something like ,"eventAttendanceMode": "https://schema.org/OfflineEventAttendanceMode" to set all of your events to be ‘offline’ (meaning they take place at a physical location) and prevent the notifications from Google.

However, be aware that the above isn’t officially supported by us until we find out more on those new fields.
