Hi
Trying to set up to use the Google maps with a UK address
The address is for the NEC in Birmingham but I cannot set the country to uk
The only options are for USA and Canada
Can anyone advise how I get it to accept UK addresses or is this not possible?

Hi,
Yes its possible to accept UK addresses, you just need to enabled them within Event Espresso.
Go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Countries.
There you will see a dropdown at the top of the setting. Select United Kingdom there.
The settings on the page will change so they are specific settingfs for that country. Notice ‘Country Appears in Dropdown Select Lists’ is set to No?
Change that to Yes and update the settings – http://take.ms/PX5J2
United Kingdom will then be available within the Country dropdown lists. You can also disable USA and Canada from that same section, for example select Canada and set that option to no, then save.
However note that when UK is selected you’ll notice not ‘States’ are shown (I’m from the UK, we would use use those ‘states’ as counties) you can either add them in manually, or use a ‘state pack’ to add them i bulk for the UK:

You just need to activate the pack once so it updates the database, you can then delete it.
