Hi, I’m able to load the map URL “https://www.google.com.sg/maps/place/Marina+Bay+Sands/@1.282898,103.8574926,17z/data=!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x31da1905a913542d:0x81a3ad206e972c35!2sMarina+Bay+Sands!8m2!3d1.2838175!4d103.859311!3m4!1s0x31da1905a913542d:0x81a3ad206e972c35!8m2!3d1.2824207!4d103.8586361” in the browser directly.
However, when I set the same string into into the “URL of Event”, the map does not show up. Is it because the plugin is not using the field to display the map?
I have also entered various combination of the address “10 Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018971” in the Physical Address section but to no avail.
Appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Correct, that field is not used for the maps, the maps load using the address details entered into the Venue.
Can you link me to the venue page so I can take a look?

Hi Tony,
The URL to the venue page is “http://asc.keppelland.com/?espresso_venues=marina-bay-sands-expo-convention-centre”. You probably can’t access it as I have turn on Single Sign On with Azure AD.
Is there a way to send the screen shot to you?
If you do indeed manage to load the page, you will see that the address is simplified down to just “018971”, which is the postal code that Google Map should be able to load.

Using the full address you posted in your first reply seems to correctly load the map for me on a test site:

I can’t view the page, but if you open Chrome dev tools on the Venue page, do you see in errors in the console?
Have you set an API key and enabled billing on your Google account (Google maps is no longer free so billing must be enabled for it to work).

You’ve mentioned you’ve found the page now, but just for future readers you need to add your Google API key to:
Event Espresso -> Venues -> Google Maps.
There is also a link there that will take you directly to the page to create your API key if you are logging into your Google account.
