Hi guys,

I just purchased a EE4 version and several plugins in order to install them at a godaddy web hosting package. After the purchase I saw that installing and running it doesnt work for godaddy managed web hosting packages. Is there any update here when this is fixed? Or do you have any solutions beside upgrading the hosting package to another one?
What are the requirements I have to ask godaddy for providing a solution? Maybe they can activate the missing function for the companys web hosting package?

Do you have any experiences here?
Best and thanks,
Hubertus

Hi Hubertus,

The solution would be for Godaddy to allow for exceptions to their caching rules so that the Event Espresso pages don’t get served from a cache. Other managed hosts like WPEngine allow for excluding specific pages from the cache.

The last we heard, Godaddy Managed WordPress hosting does not allow for excluding pages from the cache. So the only solution we are aware of at this time is to move the site to a different hosting plan that doesn’t have the built-in caching.
