We had a problem finding an event and found out that there is a glitch that once we clicked show next 50 rows it was hidden there even though originally it showed no events. This is on Version 3.1.37.12.P.

search and see: http://prntscr.com/h3x3o6
then it shows after click next 50 rows button: http://prntscr.com/h3x3zl

Hi Kevin,

That’s actually expected behaviour for EE3.

Whats happening with EE3 is we load a batch of events and then you can search through that batch using the live search filter which uses JS to filter current events ‘batch’, you can then click to retrieve the next batch and search and so on. The reason for this was to prevent the table from timing out when all events were loaded in the admin.

What you can do is select ‘All’ in the retrieve section, click to retrieve all events and then search… however depending on the number of events you have you may find that doing so will cause the page to time out and not load any events.

EE4 was redesigned with this in mind and the search function is basically the WP search function that queries the DB using the search string provided and loads the events it finds.
