Hi, I’ve read a few posts on gift certificates. Yes, EE doesn’t have this built in, but let’s say I install a gift certificate plugin. How would I apply the gift certificate amount to an event?
Would I just register attendees myself and not charge them anything (if the amount is the full event price)? I just want to make sure 1) I can track all gift certificate purchases in WordPress and 2) somehow tie all this together–like who’s purchased a certificate and what event they want to use it for. Thanks for any guidance.

Hi Jennifer,
A third party gift certificate plugin would not integrate with Event Espresso, at least not without custom code to bind the two together. We are not aware of any implementations like this.
