Getting timeouts on Authorize.net since moving to https

I’m always getting error messages from authorize.net saying there was a timeout error. The transcation goes through but a error email is getting generated. On rare occasions this causees EE to not think the transaction went through when it actually did. My website guys said there is something about EE and authorize.net that can cause this.

Anyone provide any input? Never had this issue untill upgraded to SSL.

Do the website guys actually have a comment about what it is in Event Espresso that would cause this?

What they may have meant was the entire site needs to be set to https, or strange things can happen. (i.e. if some pages on the frontend of the site still can load as http, then that could create some problems).
