Hi there,
Wordpress doesn’t allow for updates that ‘overwrite’ the previous version when you manually upload a zip so you need to de-activate and delete the original version first, then install the new one and activate it (you will not lose any EE data when you do this).

Can you not use 1 click updates?

Our Support License Key is entered in the general settings but shows a red key on the right side. Do we have to request a reset or what?

I’ve reset your license key for you, you’ll receive an email with instructions but its basically remove the key from the site, save, replace the key (the key itself does no change) and save.
You key was linked to {domain.com}/wordpress/, I’m guessing the site was set up on a subdirectory and then moved over.
