HI guys.

bit of strange one here. I am getting a 403 error when I try to update an event.

This problem started today and I was able to save changes fine the day and week before before. As far as I know I have made no system changes or updates to my website.

the event in question is when I am in the backend of this event.
http://www.amsn.com.au/events/expressions-of-interest-for-our-2018-amsn-japan-eduventure-rusutsu-resort/

I am running the latest version of EE and wordpress.

steps I have tried so far

1. disabling and restarting EE ( no change )

2. Disabling all plugins and just re-enabling EE ( no change )

at a bit of loss of what to try here. Happy to send login details through if required and I will also make a full site back up right now.

really hope you guys can help, need to make some changes ASAP

cheers
Brent

Hi Brent,

Usually, when this happens it’s because the update is triggering some form of security on the server, can you check with your host if this is happening?

Do you have access to the servers error logs? If so check there to see if any errors are being thrown when you update.

HI Tony

Strange. I repeated my step of deactivating all the plugins and restarting one by one and now the problem seems to have resolved. Thanks again for your time and suggestion but it all appears stable again now.

computers eh ?

cheers
Brent
