Get List of Attendees in Admin Email

When someone registers for an event, I want to get a notification that includes a list of the people who have registered. In the message I put

    [ATTENDEE_LIST]

and then in the Attendee_List box I put

  • [ATTENDEE_EMAIL]
  • But when I get a message that someone has registered, all I get in the list is the email of the person who registered. What I’m looking for is how to get all the email addresses and ultimately I want to know how close we are to max for that event. Is there any way to do this? Thanks

Also, the list of valid shortcodes for messages says that this shortcode can be used:
    [EVENT_TOTAL_SPOTS_TAKEN]
but when I put this in a message I get an error that says this shortcode cannot be used.

    Hi there,

What I’m looking for is how to get all the email addresses and ultimately I want to know how close we are to max for that event.

By ‘all the email addresses’ do you mean within the group that just registered or all emails for registrations on the event? If that latter it’s not something we have available, you would need custom development to add a custom shortcode for it.

Also, the list of valid shortcodes for messages says that this shortcode can be used:
    [EVENT_TOTAL_SPOTS_TAKEN]
but when I put this in a message I get an error that says this shortcode cannot be used.

Shortcodes can only be used in specific sections and that is determined by the data available to that section during parsing. The above shortcode is an event specific shortcode so will only work in the EVENT_LIST section of the template.

If you click on the icon next to each individual section it lists the shortcodes available for that section.

Thanks Tony…the Event_Total_Spots_Taken is enough. I think I know better understand how the shortcodes work. Thanks again.
