Hi, While trying to register for an event, I receive the error: If I just set $this_is_a_reg_page to true, then everything works. Thanks for any help. |
Hi there, Page_id gets set whether permalinks are set to default or custom. This sounds like there may be a conflict with the page_ID variable. Do you have customized templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates from a prior version of Event Espresso? If so, these will need to be updated so they are in sync with the current version. |

Same error here after updating to the latest EE version. I do have custom templates–how/what should i update to stay in sync? |
|
There are no espresso templates in the uploads folder as this is basically a fresh install. |

I can turn off permalinks and it works fine, but when they are on is when it screws up. |

Here is what I had to add to my custom template to get things to work properly:

rgeer, is this site installed on a multi site or a single site installation? |
|
|
It is a single site. |
Hi rgeer, Thanks for checking. Can you try resetting the main registration page? There may be a redirect causing this since it works if you have permalinks turned off. One way to reset the main registration page is by creating a new page, place the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it, then go to Event Espresso>General Settings>Page Settings, and select that new page. Then save the settings. |

Got it. I guess the system didn’t like the permalink “event-registration”. Thank you for your help! |
