Fullwidth Event Not working.

When I switch to full-width header I get the following:

https://www.hiphopinternational.co.uk/events/uk-hip-hop-dance-championships-2021-online-edition-apr-3/

I don’t know how to change it so that I get a full-width event page with no sidebar.

Can you help?

Update: I am using EE4 4.10.10.p and Divi

Hi there,

The sidebar is being output by the theme rather than Event Espresso.

One option is to use some CSS to remove the sidebar on EE events, Josh has previously posted some CSS to do that here:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/remove-sidebar-from-single-event-page-and-registration-page/#post-242718

Does that work for you?

Thank You, Tony.

Yes. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I have narrowed the issue down to this CSS

.et_right_sidebar #left-area

But I cannot figure out how to eliminate the padding and float attributes.

Apologies but I guess I’m misunderstanding the above.

The code from @josh‘s post doesn’t appear to be loading on that page, may I ask where did you put it on the site?

Using that code within Chrome Dev Tools to test show the page then loads full width:

Hey Tony, thanks for your quick response. I am inserting the css via CSS Builder. How can I send you a screenshot?

You need to host the image and then post the URL for it here. For example you can add the URL to the site itself and post the full link to view it, or use a 3rd party:

Here’s a screenshot. I realised that I had changed the code to try another hack but it’s not working either. I have reinstated Josh’s code

Looking at the page now it looks like the event is indeed full width within the container?

Is that not how you want it to display?

😮 I don’t know what to say. I have changed the code and cleared the cache multiple times; even disabled plug-ins and themes. Literally checked before my last reply. It wasn’t working… but it is now. Gremlins.

Thank You

I didn’t do much 🙂

Glad it works either way.
