We are close to purchasing the app but were wondering if it is possible and if people set up a dashboard/CMS separate from the wp interface to create events. So if our site is test.com we are looking to set up a test.com/admin page with different types of events where students could enter different types of events based on existing templates. Is this easy to set up? Thank you.

Hi,

In EE3 we do have some addons which might be close to what you need:

https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-basic/
https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-pro/

Those two addons allow limited access to Event Espresso via the WP Dashboard.

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/front-end-event-manager-add-on/

The above addon is a Beta plugin that is available after purchasing any EE3 licence. It enables logged in users to post basic events from the front end, that the admin can review and accept.

Those don’t seem to be exactly what you need as far as I can tell from the description you provided, but they are the closest we provide.
