1) Do we have front end submission and management ability? So that guest or site member can submit and manage events without entering my admon area?

2) Advance user permissions and capabilities? Do we have control over who and publish, edit and manage events?

Are teh above capabilities available in EE4 or EE3?

Regards

Sherry

Hi Sherry,

1) Do we have front end submission and management ability? So that guest or site member can submit and manage events without entering my admon area?

No, we currently do not have the ability to add/edit/manage events within the front end of the site. However you can create a role that only has capabilities they will only be able to access Event Espresso and edit events. Which leads onto…

Yes, Event Espresso has plenty of capability checks through that allow you to limit who and what has access. Take a look here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-4-roles-permissions/

Here is an example plugin that creates 2 roles that only have access to EE within the admin – http://take.ms/WcoqG

‘Event Organizer’ only has access to its own events/registration etc.

‘Events Manager’ has access to all events etc

Neither have access to any other part of WordPress other than EE.
