We’re trying to create a front-end page with detailed attendee information (all fields captured such as email, address, etc). The [ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES] shortcode only displays the attendee names. We’ve seen a lot of somewhat similar info in the forum, but we’re not finding a simply way to publish the detailed info. Is there a way to do this? |

Hi there, We don’t have a shortcode to do what you are looking for out of the box, but you could use However, note that the above shortcode pulls in the Contacts for an event, not the registrations specific to that event, meaning some of the data may not be easily accessible through it. You could create your own shortcode and use our model system to pull in any of the details needed but that depends on how comfortable you are with WordPress and PHP. Side note – I’m assuming the page you are looking to create is not publicly viewable, or you have explicit consent from your users to post their details as the data you’ve mentioned above would be consider ‘personal/identifiable data’ and covered under regulation such as GDPR in case you aren’t already aware. |

Ok, thanks. What about a way to generate a CSV file from the front end? We’re trying to make it super easy on the admin of these events to gather all the registrations without having to learn the back-end of the site. Of course! This would be on a password protected page. |

Possible, yes, but we don’t have any functionality to do it so you would still need something custom. EE isn’t designed to allow ‘admins’ to manage events on the front end, it’s intended for users to register on the front end and admins to manage their events in the admin area. |

Ok. If they must use the backend, is there a way then to limit the user role for the event admin (or create a new role that only has access to Event Espresso) so they only see the registrations and transactions? Right now with that role they can edit site pages, events, etc. We just need them to check on registrations and transactions and remove everything else. |

Yes it’s totally possible. You can use a plugin like Members or User Role Editor and edit the user roles Capabilities so they have access to EE-related admin pages only. Here’s a link to some documentation that has more information as well as a link to a Google Doc that outlines every EE capability: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-4-roles-permissions/ |

great, thank you! |
