Free event – payment status automatically completed

I want to organize a free event, so no payment. But when I try to add a person to the list the payment status stays on incomplete (red). I can change this by myself every time, but I want to change this automatically to completed for the free events (so green status). Can you help me with this?

Hello,

Go and edit the event, on the right hand side of the edit screen are some options, find “Default Payment Status for Event: ” and set it to Completed.

If you want to change this for every event, there is a similar option in the General Settings.

Thanks for your quick answer. I already have set the “Default Payment Status for Event” on Completed, but unfortunately it is still not working…

Are there other solutions?

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

Hi,

I would love to take credit for it, but I didn’t do anything. It may have been a glitch of changing the settings earlier may have fixed it. Keep an eye on it and let me know if it occurs again.
