We are in the heat of battle with a new website that will be used by our franchisees. Each franchisee will have their own Event Espresso license. I need to confirm that each installation of Event Espresso will have it’s own API login ID and transaction key. I was told by authorized.net that we would need that to enable us to have multiple authorized.net accounts associated with one domain. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi Lara,
It sounds like you are referring to the Auth.net API login ID and transaction key?
If so EE does not issue those, you get them from auth.net when you create an account. Each installation of Event Espresso will allow you to set the ID and key for the payment method so your franchise would register for an auth.net account and then set it within EE but…
How are you creating the sites? Is each site a completely separate install?

I understand that authorized.net issues the API login ID and transaction key. What I want clarified is if each Franchisee will be able to enter their own API login ID and transaction key into their Event Espresso plug in.
We will be creating the site with WPMU (multisite).
Are we on a good path? Will this work?

They’ll be able to enter their own API log in ID and transaction key if they have their own site with Event Espresso installed.
